Cards
Galore – And More ! started life at the end of 2005 in a quaint little Listed Building in Bull Street, Attleborough, Nuneaton. The location gave us an ideal opportunity to make our name and to introduce ourselves to the local community,
many of whom have become firm friends.
However,
we quickly outgrew the premises and, although we were very sad to leave, we knew that the time had come to expand the Business
by moving into a larger building. We looked at many premises for somewhere suitable,
and were introduced to our new ‘home’ at Manor Court Road by one of our Customers.
We
had made the conscious decision to stay as near to Nuneaton Town Centre as possible, giving easy access to those Customers
driving to us from other parts of Nuneaton or, indeed, further afield, and also somewhere within easy walking distance from
the Bus Station for those without their own transport.
The
Shop itself is about three times bigger than Bull Street, but we have managed to retain the same, welcoming atmosphere where
our Visitors can pop in for a few minutes during their lunch-break, or spend an hour with a cup of tea browsing our stock,
looking through a magazine for ideas or having a chat with our friendly Team of Crafters – or each other !
The
Shop is bright and airy, and has the benefit of central heating and a large seating area to make your visit more enjoyable
and comfortable.
All
the cards on display have been made in-house and can be bought as a gift for that special occasion, but they also give ideas
as how you can use our products as they have all been made with items sold in store.
We
are Independent Retailers. We stock what we – and our Customers - want. We are not told what the prices of our goods must be - we set our own prices, at minimal
mark-up, as this helps to keep the products moving quickly. This enables us to
replenish our stock on an on-going basis and we usually have deliveries of new items every week, so there is always something
new to see.
Our
plans for the future are to grow as we have done over the past 12 months, but never losing sight of the importance of our
Customers. We are Crafters first and foremost, and are here to introduce the
delights of crafting to beginners, and to support those of you who are already addicted – just like us !
